Tuition Break for Illegals In Massachusetts

By Kevin

Massachusetts has the most lopsided state government in the United States. Of the 160 members of the House of Representatives, only 22 are Republicans. That means more than 85% of state representatives are Democrats, and the vast majority of those are liberal Democrats.

When you have such a one-sided legislature, the citizens have to put up with an incredible amount of nonsense,

60% of Voters Approve Income Tax Rollback, Legislature Says No, Then Raises
Taxes By $1.2 Billion & Spending By $600 Million

67% Of Voters Approve Charitable Deduction Ballot Initiative, Legislature Says No

By 2 to 1 Margin Voters Approve Clean Elections Initiative, Legislature Says No

The latest example from Beacon Hill is this,

House of Representatives Proposes Tuition Tax Breaks for ILLEGAL immigrants,

The proposal to allow children of illegal immigrants who have lived in the
state for three years and graduated from high school here to receive
taxpayer-subsidized tuition breaks was vetoed last year by Gov. Mitt
Romney
. That the measure wasn’t even brought up for an override vote is a
pretty good indication lawmakers understood its controversial nature. It’s no
less controversial now, providing plenty of reason to subject the plan to more
legislative scrutiny than the budget debate allows.

Such scrutiny, we believe, will conclude that spending limited state
resources to reward lawbreaking is wrong. But if legislators believe overwise,
they should be willing to say so in a stand alone up or down vote.

Out of state students, who reside outside of the consortium of colleges who agree to reciprocate tuition reductions, are not entitled to receive the in-state tuition reduction that ILLEGAL OUT OF COUNTRY STUDENTS DEMAND. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE RULE OF LAW THAT MADE THIS COUNTRY SUCCESSFUL? Illegal alien students need to place their eduction needs before their parents who they say brought them here through no fault of their own. Doesn’t that apply to students in Kansas, Kentucky, Alabama etc. states whose parents gave them birth or residence in those ineligible states? Come on, what has happened to common sense. Have we lost our minds to the illegals who demand benefits from a country to whom they do not pledge allegiance? Undocumented students are mandated by federal law to register for Selective Service. They just don’t do it and laugh when asked about it. Enough is Enough. Did the 12 million illegals come here to pick tomatoes and grapes or to pick our pockets? In that regard, there should be no shortage of low wage earners who want to do the jobs “Americans won’t do.” Isn’t that the excuse they used to get here in the first place?

Sorry about the repated postings. This is my first post on this site and I was not sure of the procedure. As an addendum, Federal law dictates that all 18-25 males, whether documented or undocumented are mandated to register for Selective Service. The next time you go to the Post Office, pick up the bulletin entitled “Who must Register” next to the stamp counter. Should legal American students be required to shoulder the burden of protecting our country so it ignored by illegals who use its resources?
