The president had made public mention on several occasions of surveillance programs in operation designed to track the financial activity of “terrorists”. Disregarding for the moment the absurdity of thinking massive data sifting programs can somehow detect “terrorist” activity, what proof do we have that the Times article did any damage whatsoever to national security? It is too much for some to accept at the present moment that the whole “War on Terror” is a fabricated sham aimed at damaging the psyche of the American people. Those who have fallen for this administration’s lies over the past five years will have their fragile belief system shattered. It’ll be at this soon-approaching moment that I hope to help those in pained disbelief.
