I found it quite thought provoking that some of America's greatest generation would buy this line from Bill Burton, Obama's press sec'y. “But he was an 8-year-old child when Ayers and the Weathermen were active, and any attempt to connect Obama with events of almost 40 years ago is ridiculous.” The seniors (and a great many Americans) believe Burton because they don't want to be, you know, "ridiculous." It's like Obama is still of tender age. I mean, he was only 8 when the Weather Underground was terrorizing Americans. Therefore, no association with this youngster to a grandpa terrorist should be made. Let's let by gones be by gones. A) If a little boy grows up to befriend a terrorist, he is friends with a terrorist. Can we safely say that growing up is age 21 or better? B) When is a by gone a by gone? Answer:when there's forgiveness. William Ayers has yet to repent for his terrorist escapades. B) This is America's greatest generation. They are capable of handling the truth.
