Hillary The Hypocrite!

Arafat's Wife Endorses Suicide Attacks

New York Times,  April 14 — Before Yasir Arafat condemned "terror against civilians" on Saturday, his wife, Suha al-Taweel Arafat, told an Arabic-language magazine that she endorsed suicide attacks as legitimate resistance against Israeli occupation.

Hillary Chides Bush for Powell-Arafat Meeting

Three years ago New York's Sen. Hillary Clinton (then first lady) hugged suicide-bombing fan Suha Arafat after she accused Israelis of gassing Palestinian children.  But over the weekend Clinton chided President Bush for allowing Secretary of State Colin Powell to meet with Mrs. Arafat's husband, in a letter she co-signed with several other U.S. senators. FLASHBACK:

Mrs. Yasar Arafat & Hillary Clinton At The Now Infamous 1999 Press Conference

(NY Post, November 12, 1999) At a ceremony in the Palestinian-controlled city of Ramallah, Mrs. Clinton sat stone-faced as Suha Arafat, wife of the PLO leader, publicly accused Israel of the "daily and intensive use of poison gas" against Palestinian women and children. She then accused Israel of having contaminated 80 percent of the Palestinians' water sources by the use of "chemical materials." Not once did Mrs. Clinton react to these slanderous accusations. Not in front of Mrs. Arafat, nor hours later while delivering a speech in Tel Aviv. In fact, the first lady's security detail whisked her away to keep reporters covering her trip from asking any questions.

Prime Minister Ehud Barak quickly put Mrs. Arafat's lies in their proper context, saying angrily that they "have no connection to reality" and should be "bitterly condemned." But from Hillary Clinton, there was only silence.
