Martha Moxley                     Mary Jo Kopechne

TOUCHED & CURSED BY A KENNEDY

(May 12, 2002, New York Post, Linda Stasi) -- WHAT'S up with the Kennedy men and the dead women who loved them? It seems like every time a Kennedy male (or one related to them) is allowed around a woman, the woman ends up dead by land, by sea, by air, by car, by pills.

And each and every one of the guys has managed to slip away easier than a perp slips his cuffs in The Bronx. The latest (and longest overdue) scandal is that of Michael Skakel, the big, bloated, bloviator nephew of Robert and Ethel Kennedy, who stands accused of murdering Martha Moxley almost 27 years ago. Of course, as you know, he's innocent, too.

Right. And Marilyn Monroe killed herself, Mary Jo Kopechne couldn't get out the car window even though tubby Teddy slipped out like he was swimming through a picture window, Moxley murdered herself with a golf club, JFK Jr. was an experienced pilot, Pamela Kelley paralyzed herself in a Jeep accident even though Joseph P. Kennedy II was at the wheel, and Patricia Bowman raped herself in Palm Beach.

Some say the Kennedys are cursed. It's more like they put a curse on any unrelated female who gets within spitting range of them. If only the Kennedy women had been allowed to step up to the plate instead of their testosterone-driven men, there would be many more moms celebrating Mother's Day today.
