Where to start? The 9/11 Commission Report was released on July 24, 2004. Al Qaeda in Iraq was a factor then (ever hear of Al Zarqawi?), they are an even bigger factor today. The 9/11 Commission didn’t even address the issue of Al Qaeda in Iraq.
