Michael Yon Live from Baghdad
Dean Barnett and I had the honor speaking with Michael Yon live from Baghdad this morning.
Our discussion began with today's transition ceremony that Michael attended where Gen. Petraeus officially took command of our great forces in Iraq. We also discussed whether or not the Iraqi's are "stepping up", what it is like to embed and what the chances are for success at this point.
As always, this is a compelling discussion with an amazing man and an incredibly important citizen journalist. If you can afford to support Michael’s work, you can do so here.
You can read Michael’s latest dispatch here.
The interview is also available for download at iTunes and Podcast Ready.

A very, very, kick ass post by Mike Yon about a running fight - Roughnecks Vs. Terrorists. By kick ass, I mean it’s full of photos, aerial video, BAM!, a car chase, and Chuck Norris. Go read. Update: Mike was…

I can’t access Michael Yon’s blog.

Is there a different link? It starts to come up both in FireFox and Explorer but then goes blank.
Very strange. YOu would think they would give you a chance to sign in or something. I think I either need a different link or perhaps his site has a problem right now?
