Barak Obama = Politically Correct Priorities When Fighting Terrorism
WASHINGTON — Sen. Barack Obama, the U.S. Senate’s only black member, criticized another lawmaker from Illinois on Wednesday for published comments on discrimination against young Arabs.
Republican U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk was at an event last weekend at Northwestern University when he was asked about the difficulties of the visa process for immigrants. He was quoted by the Chicago Sun-Times as saying: “I’m OK with discrimination against young Arab males from terrorist-producing states. I’m OK with that.”
“I think that when we look at the threat that’s out there, young men, between, say, the ages of 18 and 25 from a couple of countries, I believe a certain amount of intense scrutiny should be placed on them,” the Highland Park congressman was quoted as saying. “I’m not threatened by people from China. I’m not even threatened by people from Mexico. I just know where the threat is from. It’s from a unique place, and I think it’s OK to recognize that.”
Obama took issue with the comments.
“I like Mark Kirk, enjoy working with him and believe he cares deeply about our nation’s security, but I believe his statement indicates a cavalier attitude towards civil liberties,” the Democrat said. “His comments do a disservice to the public diplomacy process that’s required to win the war on terror.”
Public diplomacy process? Does that involve putting absolutely no thought into defending ourselves?
If we cannot single out young Muslim men trying to enter the U.S. for closer scrutiny at this point, what exactly are the consequences of their Jihad against us infidels? We can cast a wary eye? Barak is asking for a fantasy world where we can afford to pay no extra attention to the one narrow demographic group that is responsible for 90% of global terrorism.
Maybe if we did, the overwhelming of majority of Muslims would fight back harder against those who have hijacked their religion and put them in this position.
This is the latest example of PCRD, or PC Reflex Disease. Barak, you’ve been exposed.

How many more Ammans â?? and 9/11â??s, Balis, Djerbas, Istanbuls, Madrids, and Londons …, to name just a few â?? have to happen before we can be spared this ritual denunciation of common sense?
Memo to Sen. Obama: Aliens living overseas donâ??t have civil liberties under the American Constitution. Coming to this country is a privilege, not a right. Government’s first responsibility is the security of the governed. And whatever one may think of â??public diplomacy,â? your drivel does a disservice to the civil rights of Americans to live and have their government take common sense protective measures.
