The Kelo Decision Gets Worse
Tom Blumer from BizzyBlog has been all over the Kelo decision from day one. Nice to see that the liberals on the Supreme Court have opened the door for your house to be taken from you by the likes of Pfizer. Now they are coming after your church.

Query: What makes the Kelo decision any more notable or outrageous than what was permitted to be done to the West End of Boston in the 1960’s?

Kelo -
Uh, the Pfizer project was completed before the land-grab: it was for “public use” stuff, like a marina presumably for boats/ships worth more than I’ll ever see outside of a movie or commercial.
The court ruled on the legality of the land-grab, and said it was legal - but please note that the majority opinion was that it [probably] should not be legal, and admonished the state and local governments for using it in such a way, and advised that laws should be re-written.
