Father’s Day edition of Pundit Review Radio
Tonight we will interview Jillian Russell, a singer and songwriter based in LA. Jillian has written a touching song, “To dad with Love”, a Fathers Day tribute her dad, and all military dads.
Jillian’s dad Jim is a member of the Mass. National Guard and was deployed to Iraq. After a year in the field, he was wounded and spent 7 months in the Walter Reed Hospitial, has had seven surgeries to date and is still on the road to recovery.
We will also speak to Jillian’s dad Jim about his service, and the song his daughter has written. The song can be purchsed by listeners on the Soldiers Angels website with proceeds going to SA’S for care packages for our troops.
At 9pm, as always, Matt from Blackfive will join us for a special edition of Someone You Should Know.

I would like to add my gratitude to all the men in America who have stepped up to the plate of Fatherhood. You are definitely heroes. If you do not believe me, look into the eyes of your child. That is all the proof you need.

[...] There’s lots more there, of course. Keep up with their observations from Iraq while they’re over there. And while you’re at the VFF blog, be sure to sign up as a member; you don’t have to be a veteran to join–just pro-mission, pro-victory. See also: Blackfive, of course, who talked with David Bellavia yesterday on Pundit Review Radio. Thanks also to my bud Cpl M at A Soldier’s Perspective for helping spread the word last week about Bellavia and Vets for Freedom. UPDATE: Here’s the link to listen to Blackfive’s Someone You Should Know story on Bellavia, from last night’s Pundit Review Radio show. (Thanks to Kevin Whalen for the heads-up.) [...]
