This is What Dems Mean When They Claim They “Support for the Troops.”
Why is it that liberals like uber-liberal Seymour Hersh have such a penchant for traveling to other countries, collecting enormous speaking fees, and slamming the US/Military? They claim that the “support the troops” and yet this is what Mr. Hersh said to his audience at McGill in Montreal this week:
If Americans knew the full extent of U.S. criminal conduct, they would receive returning Iraqi veterans as they did Vietnam veterans, Hersh said.
â??In Vietnam, our soldiers came back and they were reviled as baby killers, in shame and humiliation,â?ť he said. â??It isnâ??t happening now, but I will tell you â?? there has never been an [American] army as violent and murderous as our army has been in Iraq.â?ť
Hersh is not some “fringe” leftist. He represents the mindset of the heart and soul of today’s Democrat Party. Kerry, Kennedy, Clinton, Nadler, Boxer, Pelosi, Waxman, Hastings, all of the 60s radical liberal Dems share his view in one form or fashion. At least Hersh has the temerity not to mince words as opposed to Kerry who has basicaly said the same throughout his career falsely accusing his fellow soldiers of committing war crimes and accusing our troops in Iraq of “terrorizing women and children” but simultaneouly claiming how much he “supports” the U.S. Military.
I can guarantee you that not one of them will condemn his remarks. They may “apologize” but only if his remarks “offended” anybody’s moral sensiblities. That is really all you need to know about the liberal Democrat Party. They are invested in our defeat in Iraq and in the larger war we are waging with Islamists around the world.
One more reminder why these 60 radicals who control the Democrat Party should never be in control of any major branch of our government as far as I am concerned. They are a treasonous bunch plain and simple.

Gregg/Kevin, why don’t you attempt to book him on your show, ask him about what he’s seen, judge the truthfulness of it, and then form an opinion?
You continue to slide down this slippery slope where any dissent against the Bush administration and the heroicness of the troops is automatically treason. It’s troubling.
This Liberal writer also left the country to make HIS Offensive REMARKS…the only thing in his favor is he at least ADMITTED where he stands and what he believes. I AM ONLY SURPRISED THAT HE IS BRAVER then the WAR HERO JOHN KERRY..who has disappeared from the Democrat Campaign TRAIL! Mr. Hersh has admitted he Hates America, the Military and all things Americans hold DEAR. His words were not taken “out of context” ..I CANNOT HELP BUT WONDER..IF YOU HATE AMERICA ..DOES THAT MAKE YOU A PATRIOT? MAYBE A PATRIOT FOR ANOTHER COUNTRY OR STYLE OF GOVERNMENT, HOWEVER, NOT FOR AMERICAN VALUES OR THE CONSTITUTION. WOULD THIS WRITER WHO HATES OUR COUNTRY BE ALLOWED TO RETURN UNDER FDR..DOUBT IT..ACTUALLY THIS GUY WOULD HAVE GONE INTO HIDING…FDR JAILED THOUSANDS FOR THE SAME HATE SPEECH!
