Michael Yon back in Iraq
Michael Yon is back in Iraq. That is good news for everyone looking for a fresh, honest assessment of what is going on. Before entering Iraq, Michael had Christmas in Kuwait, and he made the following observation,
This war is strange. I never hear soldiers worried about their own morale sagging. Contrary, the war-fighters here are more concerned to bolster the morale of the people at home. Here in Kuwait, where the dining facilities are bedecked in Christmas decorations, soldiers stream in from Iraq on convoys and stream back north along those bomb-laden roads. The service members here are not all rear-echelon people who never see fighting or blood. Yet their overall morale obviously is high. Few of them know I am a writer, and so they speak freely at the tables around me. In Qatar, from which I??d just departed, I spoke with troops taking four-day R&R passes, some having just returned from the most dangerous parts of Iraq, and others heading straight back, and their overall morale was also very high. The morale at war is higher than I have ever seen it at home; makes me wonder what they know that most Americans seem to be missing.
Now compare that with this.
As you can imagine, the cost of doing this is staggering, and if you can, support Michael’s work through PayPal.

If the truth were to come out that this preplanned war is being fought for domination of the Middle East — its people and its assets — as a means to global domination, the troops would likely feel differently. It’s a dark game that this illegitimate administration is involved in, but they will fail in their attempts to completely subjugate the people through preconceived war (Iraq), false terror (9/11), and introduced disease (bird flu).

John,
Nice to see that you’ve added Bird Flu to your repertoire.

John, I was in Iraq. I freely volenteered to go. I love this nation and if it were full of idiots like you this nation would be conqured.Ill have you know that the majority of soldiers do what they do because they love this nation and they are the most patriotic people in the United States. You on the other hand can critise and make absudities of thought. I am proud of our forces. I am not proud of those in America who instead of being united want to divide it. You dont have a clue to what is going on in the world but you are dillusioned by theories that are plain wrong. Thank you have a nice day signed Forrest. I am thankful for Michael Yon and his putting his life on the line so that we can get some truth. You ought to be to and stop critising those who give you freedom.
