Blackfive’s TKO of William Arkin
Those of you who enjoy Someone You Should Know on Pundit Review Radio know what a great guy Matthew Currier Burden is, and how much he cares about the troops. He was on Fox News yesterday, ripping into the Washington Post’s William Arkin, who had this to say on his WaPost blog,
Through every Abu Ghraib and Haditha, through every rape and murder, the American public has indulged those in uniform, accepting that the incidents were the product of bad apples or even of some administration or command order…
So, we pay the soldiers a decent wage, take care of their families, provide them with housing and medical care and vast social support systems and ship obscene amenities into the war zone for them, we support them in every possible way, and their attitude is that we should in addition roll over and play dead, defer to the military and the generals and let them fight their war, and give up our rights and responsibilities to speak up because they are above society?

Kevin, you are celebrating the fact that the administration’s foremost disinformation conduit, FOX News (which is absolutely guilty of punishable propaganda war crimes under the Nuremberg precedent), is singling out and attacking a fellow American who happens to be critical of the military. FOX News operates as the personal attack dog for the administration.
This is yet another example of dissenters being intimidated and attacked for their opposition to the administration and its war policies. David Horowitz’s fascist campaign to suppress dissent in academia is another prime example.

The fascists on college camusus are the liberals who do exactly what you are accusing conservatives of in this comment. I know, I went to one of the most liberal colleges in America. Arkin has his right to be an ignorant, ill informed ass. Nobody is saying he doesn\’t have a right to say it, just like you have a right to spout off in the comments. Like you, Arkin doesn\’t have a right to say what he wants without response and revulsion.

Kevin, I never once mentioned conservatives or liberals. As you should know by now, I despise those labels. If you think I would be supporting illegal war, torture, and the other high crimes of this administration if they all had a ‘D’ next to their name, you couldn’t be more wrong. If liberal professors suppressed your conservative voice in college, I’m appalled to hear it. That’s disgusting and un-American. But so is attacking the critics of this administration, which the likes of FOX News and David Horowitz have been doing for a long time now. This is a concerted attempt to silence, intimidate and marginalize those who speak out against this administration and its war policies. It’s behavior that harkens back to Nazi Germany.

A Message to John: Perhaps you should study Nazi Germany a little closer..you know, take a history class. Like Emma Goldberg A Russian Immigrant America Hater, David Horowitz was a member of the Loony Left..and like Goldberg..He Saw the light! The only America Policy oppossed by the enemy is AMERICAN CULTURE..ie, Movies, Music and Video ..even Madonna had a Fatwa against her long before you and most Americans Understood the meaning of the word! France hates America because France is LOSING ITS CULTURE..English words are used to describe FRENCH CULTURE. During their “fund raiser” for 9/11 our Hollywood Stars decided that since they were “American Icons” they must do “their thing” in HIDING..despite the fact that millions upon millions of Everyday, Taxpaying, Hardworking Americans HAD TO RIDE THE TRAINS AND GO TO WORK IN HIGH RISE office BUILDINGS across the country…Then we got back on the same Airlines and flew around the country and the world..No Security Guards or safe rooms for the rest of us..NO HIDING FOR US BECAUSE WE ARE THE SYMBOLS OF HARD WORKING AND GENEROUS AMERICAN CULTURE..AND all the while..millions of people around the world continue to sacrifice all to come here to America..Do they come here rejoincing in the “American Icons” or do they come here to have a better life and future? And, John, Please note..I did not make up the “American Icon” line..Julia Roberts, Clooney and their fellow fund raisers DID THAT! It is most telling to me that these ICONS are merely pandering because they are the one industry that is actually having problems covering their expenses..along with the NY Times and Liberal Media..More and More people here at home thinks they are worth bothering with or spending their money on..thus, Hollywood is hoping they can open a NEW FAN BASE in the Highly Religious Islamic World..while professing their Hatred of America these aging “Icons” can make a few more bucks and hopefully buy off the folks THEY ANGERED! These American Icons make their movies and MUSIC while AVOIDING UNIONS HERE and instead run to other countries to AVOID THE HIGH UNION COSTS..ie cheaper production and more profits FOR THEM>> The Murders of Perle and Van Gogh probably caused the ICONS to Hire a few more ARMED GUARDS and strengthen their SAFE ROOMS! In Intellectual circles and Hollywood..I guess..these guys deserved it! Hardly a Roar went up..no posthumous awards were handed out for these guys..
And here is a BIG HINT..talk about professors..when I was in Grammar school my Young Male Teacher told us..he didn’t even care what we did all day or if we even went to school..THE ONLY REASON HE WAS THERE WAS TO AVOID THE DRAFT DURING VIET NAM..Colleges were not giving Finals for graduation and a Generation of Students Did nothing to earn their degrees but PROTEST and PARTY in Harvard Square…When I told my folks what my teacher said..they had me moved to another class..While my old classmates partied all year and learned nothing but hatred..I at least learned to read and do math ..under the guidance of a Teacher who wasn’t spending the day HATING AMERICA AND RANTING rather than earn his pay and make his students SMART ENOUGH TO THINK FOR THEMSELVES…IT IS ALWAYS A FAVORITE INDULGENCE OF MINE TO THINK BACK TO THE DAYS WHEN I COULD READ AND MOST OF MY PEERS WERE STRUGGLING WITH READING AS WE WENT ON TO HIGH SCHOOL..YES, THAT DRAFT DODGER WAS A GREAT INFLUENCE ON HIS STUDENTS..and he led a revolution in the class room..Had his ethics been around during Licoln’s era we would still have slavery today..and most Americans would be unable to read and write..not to mind think!
Sadly or perhaps it is the American miracle, my Plumber and Electrician-both young men.. have more Scientific and Mathmatical knowledge then most College Graduates..they also have MORE COMMON SENSE and INTELLECTUAL Ability. The jobs they do force them to think on their feet..and think for themselves…actually, my plumber had a better education in a private school then you probably had..and he did go to college, but he studied with a goal in mind and has succeeded to a point that at under 30 years of age he owns his own business, his own home and didn’t wait for anyone to tell him what to do! He is able to do his own accounting, taxes and pay his bills..this lowly plumber is able to handle his own life without “Professors” or Government babysitting him.. He also worked his way through ..more than most college “Intellectuals” can say these days.
So John..when you think it is Fine for a man like Mr. Arkin to spout his stuff..and you TAKE HIM AT HIS WORD..and you OPPOSE and Harangue those with different IDEAS..JUST ONCE ASK YOURSELF WHY YOU ARE AFRAID TO ALLOW OTHERS WITH A DIFFERENT IDEA TO SPEAK OR BE HEARD? YOUR ANGER AT PEOPLE WHO ARE “INTELLECTUALLY LIGHT” RESPONDING..ASK YOURSELF HOW MAY YEARS MR ARKIN SPENT IN THE MILITARY TO BECOME SUCH A “LEADER” OF THOUGHT..AND THEN ASK IF A PERSON WITH “REAL EXPERIENCE” ..MAY HAVE THE RIGHT TO SPEAK OUT AS WELL? Most of the wars we have been involved in over centuries were “started” or joined by Democrat Administrations..John F. Kennedy was the FIRST AMERICAN PRESIDENT..TO SEND COMBAT TROOPS TO VIET NAM..61,000 in a few short months..after his return from FRANCE!

First off, Caron, I am still staying to this day that Hillary Clinton should be in jail for the murder of Vince Foster and Bill Clinton should be permanently imprisoned for his illicit drug smuggling operations based out of Mena, AR for the criminal shadow branch of the CIA. The illegal drug operations of the CIA have been used to fund black ops across the globe, including 9/11.
