I picked up the phone early this morning to get Todd Feinburg’s take on last night’s results in North Carolina and Indiana. Todd stuck with the theme of his new American Thinker column,

Obama, the One Hit Wonder

The race for the Democratic nomination has reached a critical intersection. Hillary Clinton suffered a body blow with her failure to win big in Indiana. But with the rock star candidate hobbled by the preacher and bomber, it’s hard to imagine that Barack Obama won’t be looking more like an aging one hit wonder come fall against John McCain.

  1. Kevin, I couldn’t help but mull over your interview with Todd Feinburg- the comments made at the Senior center regarding Obama’s association with Weather Underground expert William Ayers. I found it quite thought provoking that some of America’s greatest generation would buy this line from Bill Burton, Obama’s press sec’y.

“But he was an 8-year-old child when Ayers and the Weathermen were active, and any attempt to connect Obama with events of almost 40 years ago is ridiculous.”

The seniors (and a great many Americans) believe Burton because they don’t want to be, you know, “ridiculous.” It’s like Obama is still of tender age. I mean, he was only 8 when the Weather Underground was terrorizing Americans. Therefore, no association with this youngster to a grandpa terrorist should be made. Let’s let by gones be by gones.

    A) If a little boy grows up to befriend a terrorist, he is friends with a terrorist. Can we safely say that growing up is age 21 or better?
    B) When is a by gone a by gone? Answer:when there’s forgiveness. William Ayers has yet to repent for his terrorist escapades.
    B) This is America’s greatest generation. They are capable of handling the truth. Kevin, maybe you and Gregg can get interviews like this one into senior centers?? :)
