KERRY-REPORTING-FOR-DUTY

The John Kerry Truth Commission has reported for duty and issued its first major ruling today.

No longer will talk of man-made global warming be allowed on the airwaves, radio or interwebs.

In a rambling 75 minute press conference, in which no other members of the Commission spoke, Truth Czar Kerry said,

“It has become perfectly clear to me, to my Truth Commission, Mr. Jarvis, Mr. Maher, Mr. Olbermann and to Ms. Walters and Ms. Stahl, that the time has come to say enough. It is our job to decide what is fair and balanced, what is educational and in the best interests of the American people. The evidence has become overwhelming. It’s time for the American people to face facts, until the Kerry Truth Commission came along, they were being misled in a deliberate campaign of lies and distortions that wrecked our economy and eroded our liberties. The scam is over and the Kerry Truth Commission is here to restore science to its rightful place.

Thanks to me, er, us, The John Kerry Truth Commission, this dark green chapter in American history is behind us.

Here are but a few of the hundreds of examples from the JFKTC report,

August 2011: Blockbuster: Planetary temperature controls CO2 levels — not humans

The higher levels of CO2 in recent decades appear to be mostly due to natural sources. He presented this research at the IUGG conference in Melbourne recently, causing great discussion and shocking a few people. Word reached the Sydney Institute, which rushed to arrange for him to speak, given the importance of this work in the current Australian political climate.

August 2011: Polar Bear Population Higher than in 20th Century

“The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service estimates that the polar bear population is currently at 20,000 to 25,000 bears, up from as low as 5,000-10,000 bears in the 1950s and 1960s.

August 2011: Arctic ‘tipping point’ may not be reached
Scientists say current concerns over a tipping point in the disappearance of Arctic sea ice may be misplaced.

Danish researchers analysed ancient pieces of driftwood in north Greenland which they say is an accurate way to measure the extent of ancient ice loss. Writing in the journal Science, the team found evidence that ice levels were about 50% lower 5,000 years ago. They say changes to wind systems can slow down the rate of melting. They argue, therefore, that a tipping point under current scenarios is unlikely.

July 2011: New NASA Data Blow Gaping Hole In Global Warming Alarmism

NASA satellite data from the years 2000 through 2011 show the Earth’s atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing. The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.

January 17, 2010: World misled over Himalayan glacier meltdown

A WARNING that climate change will melt most of the Himalayan glaciers by 2035 is likely to be retracted after a series of scientific blunders by the United Nations body that issued it.

Two years ago the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) issued a benchmark report that was claimed to incorporate the latest and most detailed research into the impact of global warming. A central claim was the world’s glaciers were melting so fast that those in the Himalayas could vanish by 2035. In the past few days the scientists behind the warning have admitted that it was based on a news story in the New Scientist, a popular science journal, published eight years before the IPCC’s 2007 report.
