Right Wing News is out with their second annual Best of the Worst from the Daily Kos,

America’s most influential blog is the Daily Kos. Democratic members of Congress post on the blog, Democratic presidential contenders cater to them, and Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas is considered to be a mainstream figure amongst Democrats.

Keep all of that in mind as you read these excerpts and quotes, all of which come from the Daily Kos writers, not from commenters on the blog:

Here are a few examples,

10) “I wrote a diary a short time ago about how the Bush administration helped ruin my marriage. It wasn’t because my husband was a Bush supporter or anything…it was because of all the stresses from job loses, living without health insurance and getting sick, to my husband being forced to take a job where he wasn’t home much that helped ruin my marriage.” — angrybird

Kind of reminds me of Sean Penn blaming Bush for his returning to smoking

8) “I know I’m a Jewish lesbian and (Ahmadinejad would) probably have me killed. But still, the guy speaks some blunt truths about the Bush Administration that make me swoon…

We still have seven to go, can you imagine? Read for yourself and wonder no more what’s gone wrong with today’s Democrat Party.

Hat Tip: Bruce at QandO

It’s that time of year, let the guessing game begin. Who will be Time Magazine’s Person of the Year?

The incredibly self absorbed Brian Williams of NBC News has submitted his politically correct nomination,

My nominee for 2007 Person of the Year is a woman–a woman with a history of abuse, a woman who has never run for elective office, someone we all know, someone who makes her presence known on a daily basis in all our lives and, for my money, is better than any male alternative. That woman is Mother Earth. I think the environment is the compelling issue of our time.

I don’t know what direction Time will go, but I know what direction they should go.

For me, there has never been an easier choice. It is so obvious who should be Person of the Year. It should be somone whose leadership, smarts and integrity have made a huge impact. Someone whose charatcer is unimpeachable. Well, almost unimpeachable, right Hillary? Someone who, in less than a year, has pulled off what was said to be impossible.

David Parker joined me to discuss his upcoming court case this Wednesday Dec 5th in Boston. David is the Lexington Mass father who sued the Lexington School System for violating his parental notification rights when his 5 year old was read a pro-homosexual book without being notified. You can read the details of his story here. Our thoughts and prayers will be with David and his family as they continue their fight on behalf of parent’s rights.

Gregg on December 4th, 2007

I had the pleasure of speaking with pro-family activist and political analyst for the Parents’ Rights Coalition Mr. John Haskins regarding how Mitt Romney shredded the Massachusetts’ Constitution by illegally imposing same sex marriage on the citizens of the Commonwealth and how he signed a healtcare bill that included tax payer subsidized abortion after his supposed “pro-life epiphany.”

From the Heatland Institute, a nice video showing Al Gore’s exaggerations, featuring several of our former guests, including Chris Horner, author of The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming and MIT professor of atmospheric science Dr. Richard Lindzen. Although not in the video, don’t miss our discussion with Bjørn Lomborg.

Bruce McQuain from QandO joined us for another edition of Someone You Should Know. Bruce has a great Veterans Day tribute, reminding us that everyone who serves is a hero. The Someone You Should Know radio collaboration began as an extension of Matt Burden’s series at Blackfive. Thanks to Matt, Bruce is now on board and we are lucky to have him as part of the show.

Tonight, Bruce told us about PFC Channing Moss

Sgt. John Collier, CW3 Jorge Correa, SFC Daniel Brown and MAJ John Oh had never known or come into contact with a young infantryman named Channing Moss until that fateful day in March of 2006 when they and others would risk their lives to save his. It isn’t often you get such a vivid example of the professionalism, courage and brotherhood that the profession of arms engenders. They all knew what they were risking but they all risked it on the chance that they could save a life.

Moss said it best when he said, “I knew it was love of country and brothers in arms” that drove their decisions to try and save his life. No medals were given or citations handed out for that day, but it is because of the bravery and courage of that medevac crew, surgical team and EOD detachment that Channing Moss, known as “Rocket Man,” is now home and recovering with his wife and two sons. And that is also why they are all someone you should know.

All of our interviews are also available for download at iTunes and Podcast Alley via the Pundit Review Radio Podcast.

Its been a tough few months in Hollywood. Their anti-US, anti-military movies have been tanking in truly historic terms.

JD Johannes, an independent filmmaker with a hand held camera, made a great documentary about Iraq titled Outside the Wire. As he recently noted on his blog, he has made more money with his film than Hollywood bigshot Brian DePalma has with his latest stinker, Redacted. This is classic,

Brian DePalma’s award winning anti-war movie earned $25,628.

It was made for $5,000,000.

That is .5% return of the initial investment.

My first documentary cost $35,000 to make, and thanks to the supporters of the Outside the Wire project, has made $23,464 or 67% return of the initial investment.

When one guy with a camera is beating Hollywood in rate of return and almost beating Hollywood in gross receipts–Hollywood has a problem.

Oh yea, they got problems. Big problems. It looks like Robert Redford’s latest, the star studded (Tom Cruise, Merryl Streep) Lions for Lambs is going to lose $25 million.

Hollywood’s next “big idea”, courtesy of Oliver Stone,

Oliver Stone may visit Tehran for Ahmadinejad biopic

TEHRAN — Oscar-winner U.S. director Oliver Stone will likely travel to Tehran to hold discussions with Iranian officials on his proposal to make a biopic about President Mahmud Ahmadinejad, Alireza Sajjadpur told the Mehr News Agency on Friday.

I’m sure this will turn things around for Hollywood. Whatever they do, they should absolutely avoid telling stories like this, this, this and this. No way the American public would want to see that.
