Paul Sperry of Frontpagemagazine has this story of a “gentle” 3rd grade teacher from the D.C. suburbs who was just sentenced for his involvement in terrorist activities. Once again the all too familiar story of a Muslim male aiding and abetting those who seek to destroy the United States of America and impose Sharia law. I say deport him adn everybody like him who preach Jihad and seek to impose Sharia law on our country immediately.
The recent terror case of a “gentle” third-grade teacher from the D.C. suburbs shows the danger is at once closer and harder to ID than you think. The enemy is hiding not in the shadows, but in plain sight, and may even wear a smile.
Hundreds of Muslims last week flocked to a federal courtroom to show their support for the affable and soft-spoken Ali Asad Chandia of Maryland as he was sentenced to 15 years in prison for supporting terrorists. Friends say anti-Muslim prosecutors railroaded a “law-abiding” and “peaceful” brother.
“He is a dedicated teacher,” said one. “A great family man,” said another.
Another told the judge Chandia’s so gentle he wouldn’t hurt a tree branch in his yard. “I said to Ali that I may need to cut the branch (but) he asked that I not hurt the tree,” the friend, a landscaper, said in a letter. “I was touched by Ali’s insistence that the tree not be harmed in any way.”
But prosecutors tell a different story.

MIT’s inconvenient scientist
I decided to check out Lindzen for myself. He wasn’t hard to find on the 16th floor of MIT’s I.M. Pei-designed Building 54, and he answered as many questions as I had time to ask. He’s no big fan of Gore’s, having suffered through what he calls a “Star Chamber” Congressional inquisition by the then senator . He said he accepted $10,000 in expenses and expert witness fees from fossil- fuel types in the 1990s, and has taken none of their money since.
He’s smart. He’s an effective debater. No wonder the Steve Schneiders and Al Gores of the world don’t want you to hear from him. It’s easier to call someone a shill and accuse him of corruption than to debate him on the merits.

Last night on Pundit Review Radio we put the call out to our listeners in Boston to step up and help a young women, an Iraq war veteran, who is stranded in our city and needs our help.
Her name is Selena Lassien, she is a native of tiny Vinton, LA. A member of the LA National Guard, she spent a year in Baghdad as an intelligence analyst. Matt at Blackfive has more details on her story.
She came to Boston on vacation at 20 weeks pregnant and had some complications. After being taken to the hospital she was put on bedrest and delivered her daughter at 24-weeks. The baby has endured several surgeries, including one this morning.
Selena has been staying with the baby at Children’s Hospital for ten weeks sleeping on a cot. Thanks to the great people at Soldiers Angels, she finally was able to get into a hotel room. We are trying to raise funds to put her up in a short term apartment rental, which as you all know, is very expensive in Boston.
