The next time you hear some hate filled Defeaticrat talk about how President Bush and the Republicans are “politicizing the war” remember Senator Reid’s words yesterday:
“We’re going to pick up Senate seats as a result of this war.”
What more needs to be said?
Nothing is more amusing than the vanity of the Global Warming fanatics.
The queen bee of the movement, Laurie David, has posted a letter to Rush Limbaugh on the Huffington Post. In it, she authoritatively asserts that global warming is the driving force behind not just hurricanes, floods and tsunamis. No, global warming is also behind the record low temps across the country this April.
The weather goes wacky warm, it’s global warming. The weather goes wacky cold, that’s global warming too. How convenient for them. They see themselves as beyond reproach, not to be questioned. If you do question them, well, you’re the equivalent of a Holocaust denier.
The entire Global Warming Complex has deluded themselves into thinking that they, the enlightened ones, can actually stop global warming. Or is it global cooling? Either way, by the sheer force of their righteousness, they will save the planet!

Although 70-297 is not an easy course but background knowledge like 70-272 and 350-029 make all the difference. This education is more than enough to go for 642-523.
The humiliating hostage drama that played out in Iran a couple of weeks ago was a big blow to the reputation of the British military. Many military experts came down incredibly hard on the captured British soldiers, none more so than our friend, Retired Lt. Col. Ralph Peters,
They hadn’t been through the Bataan Death March. They didn’t suffer four years in Changi Prison after the fall of Singapore. They didn’t spend a five-year lifetime in the Hanoi Hilton. And we have yet to see evidence of torture.
But they started criticizing their own country within days.
Tehran won this match. Hands down. Contrary to the “wisdom” of Western pundits, the hostage catch-and-release strengthened the hard-liners’ position and image, both within Iran and throughout the region. Ahmadinejad not only knew how much he could get away with, he knew when to bring down the curtain.
He worked his scam so well, I almost admire the jerk.
Michael Yon is back with a new post. He is in Basra with the Brits and he is VERY impressed with how they perform in the heat of battle,
In an operation that lasted over four hours, British forces killed 26-27 enemy and sustained no casualties. 5 Platoon fired more than 4,000 bullets before their guns began to cool, and about 15 of the enemy kills were accredited to 5 Platoon…
…These soldiers are so good that I have requested from British commanders to be allowed to stay longer.
This is a tremendous new post by Michael, complete with the amazing combat photography we have come to expect from his great work. In this battle, some of his camera equipment was ruined. I could not agree more with the assessment of my friend Chris Carmouche of GrasstopsUSA who had this to say about Pelosi’s recent trip to Syria to meet with terror sponsor Bashar Assad:
For months, Pelosi has been prancing around the country… waving a white flag… savaging the President… demanding our UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER ON THE WAR ON TERROR an that we skulk out of Iraq like whipped dogs and let a bunch of rag-tag Islamic Fascists run the world.
And that’s her privilege — not as Speaker of the House — but as a U.S. citizen whose right of free speech is protected by the First Amendment.
But it’s a FELONY to do what she did when she traveled to Syria and whispered behind closed doors with Bashar Assad, Syria’s terrorist-loving leader.
And the inestimable Don Feder says it perfectly. Brilliant.
THE NANCY PELOSI FAMOUSLY INEPT SCHOOL OF FREE-LANCE DIPLOMACY
GrassTopsUSA Exclusive Commentary
By Don Feder
04-10-07Hi, I’m Nancy Pelosi, and I’m not only speaker of the House of Representatives (my day job), I’m also the founder and president of The Nancy Pelosi Famously Inept School of Free-Lance Diplomacy.
We can give you the training and tools you need to become a famously inept free-lance diplomat — just like Jesse Jackson, Jimmy Carter and me!
You don’t have to be the president, secretary of state or an ambassador to engage in free-lance diplomacy. You don’t even need half a brain — as my recent trip to the Middle East demonstrates.
All that’s required is an entrenched naiveté, an unshakable faith in the good will of tyrants and terrorists and a dogmatic adherence to a leftist worldview. We can supply the rest — as well as teaching you how to say “pass the humus” in Arabic and Farsi.
Kevin was 100% correct on our radio show when he said prior to the 06′ mid-terms that it would not be the worst thing in the world for Americans to get a dose of Fancy Dancy Nancy and Company prior to 08′. I just hope that Americans are paying attention to these insane treasonist Demorats.
Here is an update on Marine Cpl. David “D.J.” Emery Jr.
Centre Daily: ‘Good tears’ flow after surprise gift
WINGATE — Leslie Shivery felt guilty leaving the bedside of her critically wounded husband, Marine Cpl. David “D.J.” Emery Jr., to accept an award from Centre County’s Marine Corps League — or so she thought — on her husband’s behalf Friday…
Shivery was stunned Friday when she was taken by limousine to a manufactured home in the Blarney Stone development to find dozens of friends and family waiting for her, along with the Nittany Leathernecks Detachment of the Marine Corps League and several active-duty Marines in full dress uniforms.
She cried when she saw the Marines. She cried even harder when she was told the house in front of her now belongs to her and her husband.
That is awesome. But it is only a fraction of the story. It gets better, much better.
The manufactured home was paid for by “An American Angel,” a proposed new television series produced by Centre County native Bea Clapp, with Discretion Entertainment. Donations from local businesses and individuals helped landscape, furnish the house and pay the rent on the lot for three years.
Shivery also was given the keys to a brand new Toyota.
And finally, Leslie thanked everyone who prayed for her husband,
“I’m a little overwhelmed,” Shivery said. “God bless every single soul who has helped, even with prayers. That’s what we need a lot of right now.”
Leslie is eight months pregnant and DJ is still in a fight for his life. I highly recommend reading the whole article.
The over the top rhetoric and fanaticism of the global warming complex is one thing. It is another entirely when they elevate their cause to a point of pure fantasy at the expense of more difficult choices required by reality.
Bill ties climate to national security
Seeks assessments by CIA, Pentagon
WASHINGTON — The CIA and Pentagon would for the first time be required to assess the national security implications of climate change under proposed legislation intended to elevate global warming to a national defense issue.
The bipartisan proposal, which its sponsors expect to pass the Congress with wide support, calls for the director of national intelligence to conduct the first-ever “national intelligence estimate” on global warming.
Don’t we have about a half dozen other agencies that can obsess about global warming? Why does anyone think we can afford to add global warming to the plate of the CIA and Pentagon? What kind of bi-partisan support does this bill have? Who’s leading the charge?
MIT professor of atmospheric science, Dr. Richard Lindzen, with a contributed article in Newsweek titled,
Many of the most alarming studies rely on long-range predictions using inherently untrustworthy climate models, similar to those that cannot accurately forecast the weather a week from now. Interpretations of these studies rarely consider that the impact of carbon on temperature goes down—not up—the more carbon accumulates in the atmosphere. Even if emissions were the sole cause of the recent temperature rise—a dubious proposition—future increases wouldn’t be as steep as the climb in emissions.

BizzyBlog’s Tom Blumer says The Tribune Company Sale: An Object Lesson in the Price of Biased Reporting?
I believe that the sale of The Tribune Company last week to investor Sam Zell is an unrecognized low-water mark in the newspaper publishing business. In fact, after subtracting the value of the Tribune’s non-newspaper properties from the deal, what little value remains indicates that the value of having access to a newspaper’s readers is a mind-boggling 70% less than it was a mere seven years ago.
Newspapers have a whole host of problems, not just bias. Although I agree their credibility is shot.
