check out what she did this morning, live on The Today Show. (gross language warning!)
My previous post has left some wondering if I am supporting Obama. No way. I am celebrating his whupping of the Clinton’s however. Their demise is good for the party and the country. That said, Obama is WAY too liberal for me, and on the issue I care about most, the war against Islamo fascism, he has the potential to be a disaster.
When to comes to taxes and spending, he seems to love both. The RNC has just launched its OBAMA SPEND-O-METER as a way of tracking his campaign proposals.
If Obama Could Enact All Of His Campaign Proposals, Taxpayers Would Be Faced With Financing Over $850 Billion In New Spending Over One White House Term.
Check out the specifics here.
I listened to his victory speech last night more convinced than ever that this guy is no JFK. JFK wanted people to think what they could do for their country. Obama’s proposing the opposite, imagine what your country can do for you.
I am on vacation this week and will have much more in the coming days as Obama cements his lead over Billary.
I DARE YOU TO WALK UNDER THIS LADDER
Emotion may be more powerful than reason in determining your behavior
The Democrats are on the brink of something truly historic, something that could potentially put them in a position for not just a November rout, but a new era of leadership. The question is, will they take those scary first steps and walk under the ladder?
Virginia, the ball is in your court.
Clinton badly needs Virginia victory
Tuesday’s Chesapeake primary seems likely to continue propelling Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) in opposite directions.
Obama has hearty leads and distinct demographic advantages in each of the three contests: Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. With a sweep, he could start to pull away from Clinton in the battle for delegates needed to secure the Democratic presidential nomination.
Clinton – whose campaign is reeling after a high-level staff shakeup and weekend loses to Obama in Maine, Washington State, Nebraska and Louisiana – has all-but-conceded defeat in Maryland and the District.
I think it would be great for the party, and the country, for Dems to say thank you and goodbye to the Clinton’s. They have an opportunity to cleanse their party, to push aside two of the most divisive figures in recent memory. They have a chance at a fresh start with a dynamic young leader.
Will they walk under the ladder?
Compare and contrast these presidential fundraising headlines from The Politico today,
Obama on pace to raise $30 mil in Feb.
and
Clinton loaned her campaign $5 million.
Wow. Pick your prefered cliche; perception is reality, money talks, cash is king, whatever, this is a PR nightmare for the Clinton campaign.
Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson confirms:
Late last month Senator Clinton loaned her campaign $5 million. The loan illustrates Sen. Clinton’s commitment to this effort and to ensuring that our campaign has the resources it needs to compete and win across this nation. We have had one of our best fundraising efforts ever on the web stoday and our Super Tuesday victories will only help in bringing more support for her candidacy.
When asked on the campaign trail today, Hillary quipped,
“The results last night proved the wisdom of my investment..”
Ah yes, the wisdom of her investments. In some circles, Hillary is a well know investment guru. She famously turned $1000 into $100,000 in less than a year investing in risky cattle futures. At that pace, she could turn $5 million into $500 million before the general election!
Since she brought up the subject of investments, let’s take a walk down memory lane,
Hillary’s Bull Marketby CLAUDIA ROSETT

In New York’s Senate race, Republican Rick Lazio has been too gentlemanly to remind voters of the murkier issues surrounding his opponent, Hillary Clinton. Mrs. Clinton’s campaign is even crying foul over Mr. Lazio daring to circulate copies of our recent editorial arguing that a Senate victory, given her prominent role in scandal defense, would be an “an absolution of her husband’s moral and ethical standards.” So we guess it’s also up to us to indelicately mention another of those flagrantly disturbing episodes in Mrs. Clinton’s career: her quick profit of nearly $100,000 on a $1,000 stake in the futures markets…
…The question becomes all the more interesting because it isn’t merely a matter of history. There is room to wonder whether there were swaps of favors over the years. Mrs. Clinton’s mentor of the market, Mr. Blair, numbers among the Clintons’ Lincoln-bedroom guests, both from the early 1990s and the past 15 months.
The Lincoln bedroom…so many memories. The Clinton’s sordid past is around every corner. Forget about the cloak of inevitability, she’s starting to take on the look of a loser.
This 3 part article/expose that I co-authored with my friend John Haskins who is the Director of the Parents Rights Coalition went out to over 1.5 million mostly conservative voters today (in Super Tuesday states).
It’s Not a Conspiracy. It’s Just a Cover-Up.
by John Haskins and Gregg JacksonPart 1: What are Limbaugh, Hannity, Ingraham and Coulter hiding about Romney? And why?
An undercurrent of distrust and anger toward the “conservative” and “pro-family” elites is building among American conservatives. Conservative talk radio audiences are departing. Donors to establishment social conservative and “pro-family” groups are departing. Voters who identify themselves as Republicans are dwindling.
Who can blame them? The failures of the “conservative” elites to defend any boundary in the Culture War or in constitutions are striking and far-reaching. And there is no end in sight. No end game has even been presented for the grassroots to consider as a path to anything but more surrender packaged as “pragmatism.”
The surest way to have “conservative” pundits and self-styled “constitutional lawyers” ostracize you as a wing nut is to cite an actual constitution debunking a falsehood they are propagating for the GOP demagogue du jour. Real world conservatives are sensing that the underlying agenda of GOP-bound pundits, lawyers and the “pro-family” establishment is to defend their authority to negotiate a surrender for the rest of us. Toward that end, conservative candidates who stand for something must be undermined. Those who stand for nothing but pretend during election season to stand for everything must be propped up.
There is, of course, no accountability for those who browbeat primary voters to ignore candidates who offer something other than the same old pseudo-conservative GOP gruel. After two decades of “pragmatist” retreat, surrender and betrayals, the grassroots are figuring out why election victories turn into betrayals on policy and legal victories are non-cumulative. The only constant is that the “conservative” elites profit by posing as guardians of the good and the true before enforcing the merely “pragmatic.”

Okay, maybe I’m committing professional suicide.
I’m putting principle above what they’re calling “party loyalty” these days. I’m putting inalienable rights endowed by our Creator above my friendships with other conservatives in the media. I’m putting real constitutions above the celebrity “conservative” lawyers who long ago figured out that defending the actual meaning of constitutions is no way to get ahead in the world.
If I disappear you can send letters to the gulag where they send real conservatives and constitutionalists who point to conservative emperors who have no clothes. Here goes.
I have made the decision to vote for Governor Mike Huckabee on the basis of research into actual records — rather than empty campaign double-talk. Alone among the frontrunners, his record is conservative on the most fundamental issues. I will go even further: examining records proves that when $100 million dollars of GOP campaign propaganda is set aside, Mike Huckabee is the only real across-the-board (social and fiscal) conservative among the three front runners.
Mitt Romney is not only not a conservative on any issue, he’s not even on the left-right spectrum. He has no beliefs. No principles. No backbone. No soul. He is a soulless creature who will do and say anything to get elected.
McCain is somewhere in the middle. He has disappointed me, and many other conservatives, many times (McCain-Feingold and McCain-Kennedy chief among them). If he becomes the GOP nominee I will support him.
I will not under any circumstances vote for Mitt Romney. Ever.
Here is why I support Mike Huckabee:
There have been many, many stories about inappropriate cell phone usage. They range from the inconsiderate to the tacky to the down right rude. I’m not sure what category this falls in.
Imagine the scene, a wake for a young mother who lost a courageous battle with cancer. Open casket, with her husband and young son standing to the right, while the receiving line formed to the left. I was five people from the casket, getting ready to pay my respects and trying to think of something meaningful to say the young boy who lost his mother.
Next thing I know, the women in front of me reaches into her pocket and puts her cell phone up to her ear. She had the phone on vibrate, but answered it anyway! This was not some nitwit teenage girl. This was a 60-year old woman. She whispered into the phone for what seemed like 5 minutes, but was probably closer to 20 seconds. I was astonished. I muttered to her, “Put that phone down†but I’m not sure if she heard me. When she hung up, she turned to look at me, and I gave her the nastiest sneer I possibly could and turned my back to her. I would have LOVED to have said a whole lot more, BUT I WAS FIVE FEET FROM THE OPEN CASKET!
I have never in my life seen such a rude, selfish, dishonorable act by an adult. It was truly despicable. I would not believe a story like this if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes.
